Patch Notes - August 11th, 2021


Hey Skaters!

Today is relatively smaller patch that than the previous two, aiming to add many quality of life improvements, bug fixes, and a new LTM. This patch acts as a final seal to the groundwork being done on the base game from the previous few patches, and from here on out the game should feature more content-rich updates that expand the systems added in previously(the revamped shop and progression systems). 

The new LTM, named Trick Frenzy, makes skaters perform a trick every five seconds or face immediately failing the run. To make up for this, all tricks will be worth double XP and style points. Combo or lose! Among that and other things, obstacles that players have unlocked will now slowly start appearing in the main menu to indicate that players are getting more stuff. Gameplay

  • Added a new LTM, Trick Frenzy
  • Improved combo resetting randomly(not entirely fixed yet, but much closer)
  • Speed Lines added to the board
  • Made turning much snappier and more responsive than before
  • Added Notes to some jump obstacles
  • Improved grinding consistency

UI

  • Added a new LTM, Trick Frenzy, to the main menu
  • Fixed music sometimes not coming back on after previewing a song
  • Added clickable buttons to the progression menu
    • In addition, songs can now be previewed before unlocking
  • Fixed broken Ads and In-app purchases across platforms
  • Fixed cyberdeck image not loading in the progression menu
  • Unlocked obstacles will now appear in the background of the main menu
  • Tutorial UI elements have been cleaned up to match the new UI visual style
