Patch Notes - February 16th, 2022

// expeditions have been majorly expanded on //

  • Expedition mode is now endless
    • There are 5 difficulty tiers depending on the current floor
    • Enemy health scales with current floor
    • Better resources and harder enemies will appear on later floors
    • Health does not reset between floors - how far can you go?

// systemic additions and gameplay improvements //

  • The tutorial is now replayable and has minor improvements
    • Talk to Sanders and go to their "Missions" section
    • The instruction text box has been made larger and moves to a better location depending on screen orientation
    • Tutorial text has been updated to be clearer on controls
  • A refugee counter has been added to Xu
    • This will show how many refugees you have saved in comparison to total
    • It can be found near the Public Educator Terminal
  • 3 test Refugees have been added, find them in Expedition Mode
  • Player skin selection systems have been added
    • To change your active skin, go to a Teer-Racket Entity Analysis Pad
    • 3 new skins have been added on the backend
    • Only the default skin is available right now, the rest will be unlockable at a later date
      • DEV NOTE: This system will feature unlockable player skins from in-game activities and purchasable skins at full release.
  • All weapons have been buffed overall
    • This is to account for the newly upgraded Expedition systems
    • Later unlocked weapons in the Corporate Ranks system are now MUCH more powerful, across all stats
  • Requisition costs have been reduced
    • The prior costs were temporary values, the new values are close to the ones that will be in the full release
      • This is still open to feedback, if the getting gear is too easy or hard please let us know
  • RONIN's head will now look where the camera is looking

// minor bug fixes //

  • Postprocessing effects are now active in menus
  • Touch ups to positions where the player stands in menus
  • Lighting fixes in the tutorial
  • Camera jitter during combat reduced
  • Minor performance improvements
  • Player data saving frequency has been increased
